I made Aliyah (immigration) to Haifa, Israel seven years ago at the tender age of fifty nine. The challenges of learning a new language, adjusting to a new culture, and making friends has been frustrating and at times overwhelming. Many resources are available to newcomers to Israel to help succeed in their new home. The Anglo-list website is one of them. My friend Suzanne Suckerman is the owner and developer of Anglo-list.

Practical information from locals and experienced olim, is key to a successful integration and absorption. In the Anglo-list they truly understand the challenges and frustrations of Aliyah and relocation. They understand what it is like to find your way around a new city, making friends, learning Hebrew and finding a suitable job. They even understand the challenges of dealing with the bureaucracy at the government offices. Suzanne herself is an immigrant, who immigrated to Israel with her family from South Africa.
